It is not.
The clearest test in recent memory was the Coreum and Sologenic merger.
Two of the XRP Ledger ecosystem's better-known projects, COREUM and SOLO, were retired and converted into a single token, TX, at a token generation event on March 6, 2026, at ratios of 1 COREUM to 1 TX and 1 SOLO to 2.345422 TX.
Handling that migration required an exchange to credit converted balances, reopen trading on a new ticker and restore deposits and withdrawals.
Bitrue handled it, and so did MEXC, Gate, Bitget and Uphold.
Bitrue separately handled the CasinoCoin migration to LHT in August 2026.
Bitrue is a genuinely competent XRP-ecosystem venue, and any comparison claiming otherwise is not describing the same platform we looked at.
That finding is what makes the fee gap decisive rather than incidental.

On June 27, 2019, an attacker accessed a Bitrue hot wallet and moved 9.3 million XRP and 2.5 million ADA belonging to about 90 users, worth roughly $4.2 million at the time, and Bitrue said all lost funds would be returned.
On April 14, 2023, a hot wallet holding under 5% of platform funds was exploited for approximately $23 million in ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT and MATIC, withdrawals were suspended until April 18, and Bitrue committed to full reimbursement.
In both cases Bitrue publicly committed to compensating affected users in full, and we found no public reporting that the commitment was broken.
The transparency question is different, and it is the one we would want answered before holding a large balance anywhere.
In a public statement dated November 12, 2022, Bitrue committed to providing third-party audited proof of reserves and to doing so annually.
