CFTC Approves Single-Stock Perpetual Futures for Trading on U.S.-Regulated Exchanges
According to the CFTC, single-stock perpetual futures have been approved for listing on eligible CFTC-registered exchanges in the United States for the first time. The products are classified as security futures and remain subject to the CFTC, SEC and applicable U.S. federal securities laws. The CFTC said the move extends perpetual-contract structures from digital assets into traditional equities, providing regulated tools for risk management and price discovery while bringing a product format long associated with crypto derivatives into the U.S. securities derivatives framework.
Aztec Launches Tierra (Alpha V6), Fixing Security Vulnerabilities and Doubling Privacy-Proof Generation Speed
According to Aztec, Tierra (Alpha V6) has officially launched, addressing a critical vulnerability found in the Alpha V5 proof system while strengthening formal verification and security testing. Aztec said the new version roughly doubles local privacy-proof generation speed and significantly reduces the time required for Ethereum messages to enter the network. The network currently has more than 3,000 validators and does not rely on a centralized sequencer or privileged viewing keys, with the upgrade further improving both security and usability for privacy-focused applications.

According to Aave, Aave Pro has enabled collateral swaps across Aave V4 markets on Ethereum, Base and Avalanche. According to Bullish, Solana, Aptos and Ethereum have been selected as the first networks for its stock-tokenization service. Issuers will be able to choose their preferred blockchain while official shareholder records remain maintained by transfer agents. Bullish previously demonstrated the on-chain transfer of 61 million reserved shares on Solana with Equiniti at the NYSE. According to CoinDesk, Open Standard, the governance organization behind OpenUSD, has established a management-fee and equity-incentive structure for OUSD. The stablecoin will charge a management fee of 0.1 basis points on payment volume, capped at $0.01 per transaction, meaning payments of $1,000 or more will reach the maximum fee. Unlike models in which issuers primarily retain reserve income, OUSD plans to distribute reserve yield to partners while also offering equity incentives based on holdings and transaction activity. The structure is designed to encourage broader adoption among payment and financial institutions through low fees and shared economics.
Uniswap StablePair Pools Adjust Fees Based on Price Deviations
According to Uniswap documentation, StablePair is a dynamic-fee Hook built on Uniswap v4 for trading pairs such as USDC/USDT and WBTC/cbBTC that are expected to trade within relatively narrow price ranges. When a pool moves outside its reference band, swaps that push the price further away can be charged no fee, while trades that help correct the deviation enter a Dutch-auction mechanism with LP fees declining block by block until execution. South Korean Regulators Discuss Raising Exchange Cold-Wallet Custody Requirement to 99%
According to Odaily Planet Daily, South Korea’s Financial Services Commission has met with major crypto exchanges and custodians to discuss raising the cold-wallet custody ratio required under the Virtual Asset User Protection Act from the current minimum of 80%. Some major exchanges already keep more than 94% or even 99% of user assets in cold storage, while others remain slightly above the existing threshold. If regulators move closer to a 99% requirement, the amount of customer assets that platforms can keep in online hot wallets would fall sharply, raising custody-isolation and reserve-management standards across the Korean market.
Hong Kong SFC Plans Tokenized Gold ETF Pilot and Deeper Integration Between Tokenized Funds and Digital Currencies
According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission plans to launch an “Innovation Pathway” to promote greater integration between tokenized funds and digital currencies, with a tokenized gold ETF among the next potential pilot projects. Hong Kong currently has 17 approved tokenized retail products spanning money-market funds, gold products and ETFs, with total assets under management of approximately $1.3 billion. Over the longer term, the SFC also plans to explore tokenized assets as collateral, broaden the on-chain issuance of equities and bonds, and use smart contracts to automate investment and trading workflows.
Thai SEC Proposes Allowing Digital Asset Operators to Apply for Derivatives Licenses Without Establishing New Companies
According to the Thai SEC, the regulator is consulting on amendments to its derivatives licensing framework that would recognize digital assets as eligible underlying assets under the Derivatives Act. The proposal would allow qualifying digital asset businesses to apply for licenses covering derivatives brokerage, proprietary trading, investment advisory and investment management without setting up separate companies. If adopted, existing Thai digital asset platforms could expand into regulated derivatives businesses within the same corporate structure.
